This was the first of the posters that was brought out before the release of the film 'Cloverfield'.
The poster includes no images or any details about the film at all. All it has is the release date of the film, this leaves the audience with a lot of questions as they want to know what the film is about. The poster links with the teaser trailer as the trailer also only includes the date and the director of the film and nothing else like the title of the film or who is in in etc.
